GOAT Points extrapolation extrapolate GOAT Points for active players to their full hypothetical career.
Extrapolation tries to estimate how much GOAT Points players would earn by the end of their careers by calculating how much GOAT Points average players have earned at specific age and by creating an age-weight curve telling a proportion of GOAT Points earned at specific age.
Say a player has 30 years. Say that through the Open Era, average player earns around 10% GOAT Points at age greater then 30.
If player now has 200 normal GOAT Points, it is estimated that he would have 200 / (1 - 10%) = 222 GOAT Points at the end of his career.
